The Mac would be better at other things ofc. A M1 would run PUBG at around 45-55 FPS the MSI for same prince, 160-180 FPS. In effective speeds, it would be over 300% better. a 3060 is like over twice as fast as the ancient budget card that is a 1050ti. Just to list the difference between a budget 1050ti (that is ancient tech by now) and a new gen avarage GPU. Cost in my region would be around 1k-1.1k Euro (different regions different prices)Īt the same price, I would be able to get a MSI laptop with a I7 11800H, a 16gb of ram (same speeds, actually this one have better timings and again double the ram) 1gb SSD (faster than in the M1) and a RTX3060 (there is a reason why you often need much more ram and cpu on games for Mac than Win/linux.Īnyway. The CPU is great for single core operations, but people forget how the MAC OS utilize the system. It is comparable to (name any brand with Win or Linux) that has a 1050ti or more (a huge budget graphics card!!! and 8 gb of ram, with a regular 256gb ssd. Calling an M1 Macbook "overpriced" is just ridiculous. Gaming aside, there is no Windows laptop that can compete with the value of an M1 Macbook Air at that price point. Expect issues if trying to use mods or during updates. ![]() the above states the minimum requirements for Mac OS systems. and if you prefer Linux as well.īut again. ![]() The best solution right now for people that are not "forced" into having a Mac computer (a overpriced PC) or chose to have it for other reasons, is to make their own computer (cheaply) then install both Win and Mac OS on it. you would be better of making a bootcamp. That being said, mac OS is just awful for gaming and often conflicts anyway, in the near future, you wont even be able to play most of the current games on a Mac OS, since they will transition to ARM.Īll in all. Graphics: AMD Radeon460 4GB or Intel(R) Iris(TM) Plus Graphics Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
